Is this a one-way or two-way integration?

Currently one-way — Synthro pushes data to SimplePay. Payslip confirmations and payroll totals are visible inside Synthro for reference.

Do my employees need a SimplePay account?

No. The integration runs between Synthro and your SimplePay company account. Employees don't interact with SimplePay directly unless you grant them access to their payslips there.

Does it handle PAYE, UIF and SDL?

SimplePay calculates the statutory deductions from the data Synthro provides. Synthro ensures the inputs — leave days, hours, gross pay changes — are accurate and BCEA-compliant before they're pushed.
