Skills Development Levy (SDL)

Every SA employer with annual payroll above R500,000 must pay 1% of total payroll as SDL to SARS. Up to 80% can be claimed back through approved training via your SETA. Synthro tracks contributions, training spend and claim eligibility automatically.

WSP vs ATR: the difference

WSP — due 30 April

Your forward-looking plan: the training you intend to provide over the next 12 months, which employees, which qualifications and estimated costs. Synthro pre-fills it from your team's skills gaps and active learnerships.

ATR — due 30 June

NQF level tracking
